Happy New Year Girls!

Happy New Year to you all and here is hoping for a peaceful and happy 2025. Today is my first day back to work after a really wonderful Christmas and New Year break. I won’t lie, I had a little bit of fear about coming back to work today. I know we all feel a little bit of this after holidays. This was the longest break I have taken since I set up the page and I enjoyed it so much. It was just amazing to put the phone down and to relax for almost three weeks. It did take me a few days to unwind after the crazy Christmas mania but after a week or so I could feel myself completely unwinding and relaxing.

We got home from Dubai on Monday evening and hit the cold and the ice. That was a shock after the sunny weather. I know my cashmere and wool hat and scarf sets are very popular. I have limited stock left in the charcoal grey and the winter white. I have popped a 25% discount live on the remaining stock girls. We booked Dubai at the very last minute to be honest with you. I knew I had the time off and thought it a perfect opportunity to head off. Daragh was off College and Chris was also on holiday. We had a complete ball. We saw all the sights and walked lots and lots. The Hotel was fabulous as was the food and the cocktails. I also had a few days just chilling by the pool while the lads were out doing activities. I read and completely chilled out.

It was really nice though to have a few days at home with Mam & Dad over the Christmas period. My brother and sister in law cooked us all a fabulous Christmas Dinner and it was great to have the family around. He also has younger children so again great to be able to join in the Santa fun. We had a great day and just good old chats and fun. It really is what it is all about in my opinion. The few days after Christmas we just relaxed and went for long walks along the canal with Murph. Next year we will be in the new house so it will be our turn to host, please god if we manage to get ESB connected LOL… Watch this space; it should be entertaining. My first time in my 52 years to host. Chris I think will be the head chef assisted by myself. I owe a lot of Christmas dinners so I really need to get this right. Eleven months to prepare lol. Preparation starts now not….

December really was a great month for my brands. I want to say a huge thank you for all the support you show me girls. I say it all the time but without you all it just would not be happening. The Fashion, Cosmetics and the website were so super busy. We sold out of so many products and the feedback that I have received back is amazing. I work really hard at trying to get it right and immerse myself completely in it. Be it my clothing and cosmetics brands or indeed the various brands that I work with on a monthly basis. I try hard to get you all the best deals and to price the items as competitively  as I possibly can. I love receiving the feedback from you and seeing you all wearing the products. That actually gives me the most amount of joy. It really makes it all worthwhile. Again, I just so appreciate all the support.

We have a super busy few months ahead. The long awaited fleece tops in three colours will be launching towards the end of the month. The leggings will also be launching. Those of you following me for a long time will know how long I am working on both products. Three years working on the  leggings and that is the honest truth. I just wanted the correct colour and compression. I really feel that I have nailed them. We were on the shoot back in December and a few of the people on the shoot said they just don’t wear leggings. Let me tell you when they tried them they were converted. My biggest fear here is that I have not ordered enough. They are a new product and I am always a little unsure on exact numbers. I can genuinely say they are the best leggings I have ever worn. The fleece tops also took a long time. I am a stickler on how product washes and it took time to get the composition correct. Lots of fleece goes all funny after washing almost into clumps. I was adamant that this would not happen with mine. Linda and I were both washing them non stop and we got there in the end. I have been wearing mine for months, almost years as you know. I will let you know exact launch dates when I know more towards the middle of the month. In February we will also have lots of new and exciting launches and I will keep you posted. Amazing products in production and I will share them all with you over the next few weeks.

I’m really excited for our next Lisa and Co Cosmetics product launch this Friday – Introducing the Blender Duo! There are two different shapes of blender sponges in the gift box;— one classic oval for foundation and cream products, and another with precision angles for areas like concealer and powder. Both are presented in a stunning keepsake gift box. Anyone who is used to using beauty blender sponges knows how versatile they are. They just blend so seamlessly without the hassle. They are the most premium quality and are latex free and expand to double size when wet. I find myself reaching for them for everything these days. Especially when I’ve overapplied my liquid contour/blush from the Liquid Face trio. They will be available Friday Girls, and will be €22.

The house is flying along now, I feel like I will never get in but we are on the homeward stretch now. It really is a lot of the interior work  and the final pieces of the puzzle. I am so excited. It is a long time coming but I know it will be worth the wait. I am not sure I will ever leave the house once I get in. I might just turn into a hermit lol. Springtime is a great time to move in though. I am so lucky with lots of lovely things to look forward to. Chris bought me a trip to Paris in February for Christmas. It’s a long time since I’ve been to Paris so I am really looking forward to that. The walking shoes will be needed for the trip. He always says that I am so difficult to buy for. I love travelling so it was just a super present. Experience is where it is all at for me now seeing new places and trying new things.

My live shows are back on February 1st and 2nd. We will have 600 seated per night and I cannot wait. It has been two years since we have had a live show. I was getting so many messages from you all asking me to bring them back. I was shocked that the full allocation of tickets went in the one day. We will be in the Johnstown House Estate in Enfield. The legendary goodie bags are back along with a two course meal. We have some really exciting speakers throughout the show and a best dressed lady prize for each event. The shows are always so fun and the atmosphere is always electric. It is a group of women out to enjoy themselves and have a night away. I always say it is like a giant hen party. Looking forward to meeting lots of you there over the two days. We better get planning now and organising all the finer details.

I also want to say a huge thank you for the support on my charity raffle. Make A Wish are genuinely over the moon. We raised a huge amount of money. The money will go directly to sick children to make wishes come true. You never let me down and collectively as a group we will make a huge impact on sick children’s lives. Later in the month or in early February I will do the official cheque handover to the charity and will share all the photos. This just wasn’t me girls, this was us. I just happen to have an amazing network who helped me to raise the money.
