January 2026, Happy New Year Girls!

Happy New year Girls and here’s hoping for a healthy and happy 2026. I always say health first because let’s be honest our health is our wealth. Everybody’s idea of happiness is different but health is everything. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and that you got to relax and chill out with family and friends. I had a great break and really enjoyed the downtime. I finished my collaboration work on December 17th so I had a great break.

We had Chris’s son over for a few days just before the big day so it was great to be able to spend a few days with him and Daragh was also home from College. We went for nice meals and Chris cooked and we just had lovely family time. It’s great having the space now for him to be able to come over and stay with us. He’s a great kid and we really enjoyed having him. Speaking of space we got through the Christmas Day Dinner and I have to say with flying colours girls. You would have been super proud of me. Chris cooked up a storm ably assisted by myself and we poisoned nobody so I am taking that now as a win lol. To be honest it was a great day and my starters worked out great and Chris really did a super job. The space again was just great and guess what girls? I’m looking forward to hosting again next year and sure the only way is up it might be even better . I am a bit of a traditionalist and I don’t take down my decorations until January 6th after Women’s Little Christmas which actually is today. I will miss them now. I love the twinkling lights and the warmth and I think they were extra special this year because it was our first year in the house and I was so excited about it.

I was saying to you during the week on stories that I am not a person who sets New Years Resolutions. We all have enough on our plates without adding the extra pressure and more box’s to tick on a daily basis not to mention that added pressure. Life can be stressful enough so I try not to add to it and go with the flow and try be the best version of me but look, everybody is different and that’s what makes the world go round as they say. Each to their own. Some people love a set target and goal but for me it’s just to try do my best on a daily basis with no added  pressures.

Daragh and I had a super week in Dubai. It’s really lovely to be able to spend that time with him and more importantly that he wants to still come on holiday with me. Those if you following me a while will know it was just Daragh and I for so many years and we do have a very close bond. We had great food the occasional drink lol and lots of sunbathing and hit the gym. It was just what the Doctor ordered and the batteries are now recharged and ready to go again. We are actually going back in February. Well I am going with Linda & Chelsea. It’s a big birthday for Chels so we are taking her over for a birthday treat. Linda has never been to Dubai, Chelsea has and loved it so it’s her pressie. I’d be lost without her so it’s a little thank you to celebrate her big birthday. We always have such fun when we go on holidays and the laughs and the chats are always great. Nothing like a girlie trip as well. It’s good for the soul. Our trips are always working trips but sure all work and no play etc. lol .. The girls always help me too which is brilliant… will tell you more about that next month.

I will be meeting 1,800 of you from January 30th for three nights in the Johnstown Estate in Enfield. We loved it there last year so said we would book it again for this year. It’s a beautiful venue, really really stunning. I couldn’t believe how quickly the tickets sold out. I was a bit nervous I won’t lie, but my God they flew out the door and were sold out within a few hours. As I always say it’s like a Wedding without a bride and groom and a brilliant get together of like minded people who just want a fun night out in a really nice environment. The style is always super and we will have our best dressed each night sponsored by Jack Murphy Jewellers. Get the glad rags on girls. It’s always super stylish and lots of shopping on the day. The goodie bags are fabulous along with a delicious meal and drinks reception. Looking forward to meeting some of you for the first time and some of you that I may have met before.

As I said, some great bargains to be had but stock and sizes are very limited. Our 98% wool trousers arrived in black and burgundy just before Christmas and are in my opinion beyond stunning! I live in mine in all four colours. The burgundy matching jumper, I should have up online at the end of the month. The cable knit is so beautiful and a first in this design. I also have it coming in a soft cream which is also beautiful. We have so much landing over the next few months! The chocolate plum Camisole is also launching in a few weeks time. It’s all very exciting and as I say to you all the time, I just love what I do which makes it even better.

As we step into 2026, it feels only right to reflect on what an extraordinary year 2025 was for Lisa and Co Cosmetics.
