I hope all is well? This morning, girls, I am launching my chalk clutch bag. It really is the ideal Summer piece. It is 100% Napa leather. Can you actually believe we’re in July? I actually can’t. The month of June flew by. I know lots of you are on holiday now, as you are texting me from various parts of the world. I love seeing so many of you wearing my clothing and cosmetics. It warms my heart to receive the pictures and to see how well the products look on you all. Usually the Summer months are a little quieter in business but not for me. Thankfully, it is just as busy. I’m the type of person who really needs to be kept busy and I certainly am, girls. I love all the different elements of the businesses and believe me it never gets boring. Whether I am working on my own brands or with the many businesses I collaborate with monthly or yearly, it’s so rewarding and so much fun. I am so lucky that I really love what I do. As they say when you love what you do you never work a day in your life. This is very true for me. I love the chats with you all and the fun we have along the way. I have the tough days, but the good days definitely outweigh the bad days.

Fashion had a super busy month in June. The embroidered dresses are dispatching this week and I am dying to hear what you all think of them. I love both the red and the black dresses; they are so well made that you will be able to wear them year after year. My beach dresses were a hit, and I am getting daily photos from beaches all over the world. The raincoats, well now—they just flew out the door—not to mention the nine-minute bag. I could not get over the shoulder bag, but I worked on that bag for almost two years. I am sampling the bag in a few different colours now and will keep you posted on that.

July will also be a busy month in fashion. My classic sunglasses are coming back into stock in the three colours. Brown, Navy and Black. This will be my 4th year of the classics, and the demand for them never stops. They are stunning though so it doesn’t surprise me at all to be honest. They are what are called classic sunglasses. They never go out of style and are simply timeless. Lots of you are looking to buy them in a different colour. You might have one pair and now be looking for the other colour. We should have them on sale within the next two weeks. The long-awaited gym tops in both camo and black will launch this month also. One follower messaged me, stating she has been waiting two years for these, and she is absolutely right. I have been working on them for two years. I always wanted to design the perfect gym top. God knows I spend a fair bit of time there, so I really wanted to get it right. My short cool touch short pyjama sets will also hopefully launch mid month. They are always a best seller for me and I have to admit that on the short sets this design is my favorite so far. I absolutely adore them. Lots is happening, girls, as I said.

On a personal level we have a very special Birthday this month. The main man himself turns 80. My Dad… Those of you following me will know what a special relationship Dad and I have. He has always been the most important man in my life. He has always been by my side. Supported me at the worst and best of times. I actually genuinely hand on heart do not know where I would be without my Dad. We worked side by side for almost 30 years. He only sacked me once or twice lol but I was always back. I am blessed to have him in my life and cannot thank him enough for all he has done for me. Words cannot do justice to the appreciation I feel. He does not want a big party but Peter is coming home, and we will have a family gathering at my house to toast the legend that is Brendan McGowan. Love you so much Dad and can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with you.

June has been such a huge month for us here at Lisa & Co Cosmetics. We launched our Instant Impact Lash Primer, welcomed our gorgeous new Sol Luxe SPF 50 Stick, and finally managed to replenish so many of your favourites including our Sol Luxe Sets, SPF 30, Aftersun and our SPF Lip Balms. Seeing your excitement over every launch and restock honestly never gets old. We’ve also had some incredibly exciting news behind the scenes… I can’t share it just yet, but trust me, it’s worth the wait. I can’t wait to tell you all very soon! On a personal note, June was full of photoshoots too. We finally shot our Gradual Tan campaign at home, and then headed to beautiful Barcelona where I somehow ended up on a boat for another day of filming! There was another little star making his modelling debut… Chris! He had his very first taste of a photoshoot and, despite being a very reluctant participant , he actually did so well. I think he secretly enjoyed it… although he’d never admit it!

Now for what I know so many of you have been waiting for… D Day for Gradual Tan orders is Monday 7th July. I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever been this excited about a product launch since Skin Luxe. I’m always excited for every product but the Gradual Tan has been in the works practically from the beginning of the brand so it feels like it’s the biggest launch to date. Reading your messages every day and seeing how excited you all are has made this one feel extra special.  I cannot wait for you to try it.
