August Already…

Like seriously can you believe that it is August already. I actually cannot believe how fast this year is going girls. We are always working a few months ahead and writing blogs ahead of time so sometimes I genuinely don’t even know what month I am in….We have a super busy month ahead girls with new additions and some of the brands that I have worked with back again on the website so lot’s for me to show you all.
‘I have to say it feels great to have had my vaccine and it almost allows you a level of freedom. I don’t know about you all but I feel better for sure knowing I have it…..’
It is so great to be able to go out and about and now dine inside, stay in Hotel’s and just socialise in general again. You almost forget that you are permitted to do so, anybody else feel a little like that?
We are hoping to have our live shows back early next year. I really really miss the live shows and meeting you all. We always have such fun at the events and it is such a great opportunity for me to meet you all in person. It’s also a great excuse for us all to get away for the night and to get all dressed up. I really hope that I will be able to share some exciting news with you all on venues ,dates and locations in the coming months.
August is also my Birthday month….. the last one in my 40’s girls.. I have no plan made yet but am hoping to do something nice. Chris has his big one coming up in September so I better get the thinking cap on as well and come up with a plan. I find it so hard to buy for him, he is very particular and sure you know me I like most things. Maybe I should book a weekend away or something, that way I benefit too lol…Anybody else find it hard to buy for their partners? He may start thinking about my big one next year girl’s….
Jeez I cannot believe I will be 50 next year but age is but a number. I still feel 30 and sure that’s what it’s all about. I really am trying to be kinder to myself and to try and relax a little more. I think us women can be very very hard on ourselves. We try to juggle work and family life and give ourselves very little time out. We are all constantly multi tasking and trying to be in almost two places at the one time? It’s quite hard to train yourself to switch off a little more but I am really going to try. It is so important for us all.
Later in the month I am hoping for a restock on my Loungewear girls. I am still in shock that it sold so quickly. I will keep you posted on when it is due to land during the month. I still have some sizes left but lot’s more landing later in the month. Click here to buy..
What’s New for August?
Huge big welcome to Born, my feature store of the month for August. I am so happy to have you and just love the looks we are showing this month. Born, another hugely successful Irish Boutique chain led by Joan Lynch and her team. It’s so great to see you opening new stores Joan and I really admire how you run your business. The looks are always so current and the value that you offer is second to none. I actually have said a few times I don’t know how you produce the quality for the price point. Girls I hope you love the looks as much as I do. It was great fun trying them all on and styling the looks, looking forward to seeing them on you all during the month.
Well Rachel what a sale you had last month. You blew it out of the water girl just fabulous I have to say amazing. As you all know Rachel is working with me from the very start of the website and every month we both decide on all the looks. She has an amazing selection and it really is great to be able to support a small store based in Bantry in Co. Cork. We always have the craic Rach and this month is another cracker.
Great to have Derek back on the website this month again. The Montgomery Lifestyle crew are just so innovative and every month they have a brand new product to launch. They are so unique and constantly thinking outside the box. I have so much admiration for Derek and his team.
