February Freedom!

Hello Hello,

Welcome February, I think we are all happy to have January behind us girls. I always think when February arrives you can almost feel positivity is in the air. Let’s be honest, this is probably the best February ever with all restrictions now lifted. I couldn’t believe it when I watched The News but it is so welcome. It will take some a little longer for some to adjust to the easing of restrictions but everybody should take it at their own pace. There should be no pressure on anybody. It is also great that the evenings are getting a little longer, brighter colours are arriving into the shops and there is a Spring in the air. I am not a big fan as you all know of Winter so I am always happier in the Summer months.

Well I have to first say a huge thank you to each and every one of you for the support last weekend. The sweatshirt launch just blew me away. I cannot believe it to be honest with you girls. I just love them and they literally took me months to get right. I sent back so many samples and I mean so many samples. I tried to look at it almost like building a house section by section. The collar, the cuff, the waistband and most importantly the quality. I am not joking when I tell you all it took me a full year to get them right. I just love them, I am literally living in mine since I received them. Thanks so much for all the photos and feedback as well. it’s when you see all you fabulous ladies wearing them that it almost becomes real if you get me? It really is a kinda surreal feeling girls. I have as you all know always always loved fashion so to have this happening is a real pinch me moment, genuinely. I don’t want to sound cheesy in any way but it really is a dream come true.

I cannot tell you how anxious I get before a launch. You know that feeling in your tummy, like a knot? I get that for days beforehand and I mean days. Launch morning, oh you should see me I am all over the place. I know I drive the girls mad in the office making sure we have every box ticked. They are great like I couldn’t do it without them. Chelsea is the Queen of Customer Service and she literally spends the day answering emails and queries. Big shout out to Shane as well in One Stop Fulfillment. I literally couldn’t do this without him and his team. My red Pieta sweatshirts are all sold out and I would hope to have a total from my accountant in the next four to six weeks. We will be going up to Pieta then do a cheque presentation. I cannot wait to hear what was raised. Click here to to purchase white and navy sweatshirts.

What’s New for February?

Great to have Born with me again. It really is great working with Joan & Courtney. We have all our looks picked out right up until June girls. We have some amazing dresses there, wait until you see them. I wanted to go on holiday after seeing the looks. It’s just great to see the bright colours landing again. I love it…Spring has sprung that’s for sure…

Delighted to have Derek and his team from Montgomery Lifestyle back on the site this month. Derek has been with me a long long time now. The response you all give to Montgomery is unreal girls. They work so hard and as I always say, constantly coming up with fresh ideas. Great to have you onboard again guys.
